You are invited to the next meeting of the Biological Interest Group (BIG) which will take place on Monday 27th October. As usual, it will be held in the seminar room at Byrne House, from 1-2pm. Participants can bring lunch and drinks if they wish.

We will be discussing work by Brian Rappert, entitled ‘Sensing absence: How to see what is not there’. This is a draft for an introductory chapter intended for a volume Prof. Rappert is co-editing, due for release next year.

We will be discussing a piece by John Dupré intended for publication in the Philosophers’ Magazine, and is currently the most extensive summary of the ideas behind the Process Biology project.
